This consultation includes a 30-minute live design session through Google Meet. During the consultation, we'll discuss your design goals, feather options, color palettes, budget, and estimated production timeline. Consultations are usually on Fridays 7am-4pm CST or weekdays 8:30pm-11:30pm, but we'll find a day/time that works. After the session, you'll receive a summary and project estimate.
If English is not your primary language, or if you simply prefer written communication, select email only for the option. Please note that email consultations are limited to one hour of consultation and correspondence time, equivalent to the live consultation option.
Rush
If you need your fans by a specific date, please purchase the appropriate Rush addon. If your timeline cannot be accommodated, your rush fee will be refunded, less the $25 consultation fee.
To help set realistic expectations, typical custom pricing ranges are:
Single-layer plume fans: $500-$700
Double- and triple-layer plume fans: $900-$2,400
Boa fans: $2,200-$3,200
Pheasant fans: $2,500-$4,500
Final pricing depends on feather availability, customization requirements, specialty materials, dye work, embellishments, and other design elements. Estimates are considered do not exceed maximums, so you can be assured that the cost will not be greater than the estimate.

On all Stave Kit purchases, a $5 donation is made and on all feather fan purchases, a $10 donation is made to an organization that we’ve identified.
