Pink for femininity. Blue for masculinity. Red for power. Pastel for sweetness. Neon for rebellion. We’re taught to read color as shorthand for who someone is.
What happens when we strip color away?
Can you see a spectrum that doesn’t rely on hues?
For this first shoot, our goal wasn’t to decorate our models — it was to frame them. Each person was chosen for their individual aesthetic, their presence, their fluidity. By restricting the palette to black and white, we invite you to focus on what actually expresses identity: form, expression and the way someone occupies space. Even our feather fans shift roles here, becoming the backdrop, frame, or stage rather than symbols that “tint.” The story is simple: color isn’t required for vibrancy. Identity lives in expression.
Our feather fans come in every shade imaginable — but this exploration asks you to reflect on how color may tint your performance and move toward the truth of your own authenticity.
